Overview

The NEC suite of contracts are widely used both domestically and internationally. Each contract in the suite has its own specific function depending on the project and it is therefore essential to know when, why and how to use the contracts.

Case studies and examples will form the basis of this course.

Course Structure

The course will be delivered combining technical references and practical exercises. The subject matter expert will explore real life examples that will support consolidating the knowledge through an open discussion environment.

  • Apply core NEC4 contract administration principles including early warning process, Accepted Programme and compensation event process
  • Identify common pitfalls and potential remedies
  • Employ a risk management strategy under the NEC
