Developed by Ballymore and Oxley, Royal Wharf is a new neighbourhood for London comprising 3,385 homes and housing approximately 10,000 residents.
From FreeBook now
The development is located in Royal Docks and is centered around Sovereign Place - the local market square - with shops, restaurants, bars and cafes leading to a network of leafy streets and squares. 45% of Royal Wharf 40-acre development will be devoted to outside space, including a 2.4-acre riverside park, a 500m riverfront promenade and a bustling Marylebone style high street, creating a vibrant community feel for residents. There will also be a world class leisure facility featuring a 25m swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, and gym. The first residents moved to Royal Wharf in 2016 and phase one is due to be completed in 2020.
This event is in support of Pledge150, to help fund the provision of 150 bed spaces for young homeless people throughout the UK. With this in mind we would ask for a minimum donation of £20 to attend this event on the day.
As part of our 150-year anniversary in 2018, we want to highlight our public interest responsibility and the value of the surveying profession in developing influential solutions to society’s challenges in the UK.
Our fundraising programme will enable our partners LandAid to fund the provision of 150 bed spaces across all 12 RICS UK regions. RICS professionals will also have the opportunity to register their interest to provide pro bono support to local front line charities.
