RICS in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University would like to invite you to a one night only sleep out in Sheffield in aid of Pledge 150.
Available £5Online Donation
As RICS celebrates 150th anniversary, in the UK we want to highlight our role as a public interest organisation. We have teamed up with LandAid to help eradicate youth homelessness. Through our ambitious Pledge150 campaign we will provide 150 bed spaces to help vulnerable young people across the UK and give them safe, secure places to call home. The solutions to homelessness are not simple, but as the professional body for property professionals, and with your help and support, we can make a difference to the lives of young people in need in the country.
So, join us for this one October night sleep out and help raise vital funds for the Pledge 150 campaign. By coming together and raising money, we seek to emphasise the struggle and severity of pain homeless people go through every single night.
The sleep out will take place on the Charles Street Building outdoor deck but if weather conditions let us down this will be moved indoors to the Charles Street Building Atrium.
Start time: 9pm / Finish time: 7am
Teas and coffees will be provided on the day but please bring a sleeping bag and good mood!
Let’s make a difference together... To help eradicate youth homelessness and change futures, we would ask for a minimum donation of £5 to attend the event. Please add your name and reference 'SHU Sleepout' when you donate.
All proceeds from this event will go towards the Pledge 150 campaign.
