Book nowThere has never been a better time for those who are practicing in the residential sector to attend this event!
Anecdotal evidence from across the UK suggests market demand for consumer facing level 1 (RICS Condition Report equivalent), 2 (HomeBuyer Report) and 3 (Building survey) services is increasing as members report an upturn in enquiries and instructions in recent years. With traditional lender focussed valuation instructions set to fall as AVMs and Desk Top appraisals gather momentum RICS is seeking to consolidate and improve current member practice by establishing new ‘gold’ standard for home surveys to serve the changing needs of the market place.
This is highlighted by renewed government interest in improving the home buying and selling process allied with the onset of PropTech and new IT systems and a need to work with other professions and specialists to satisfy raised consumer expectations on quality and service. And RICS is not being left under starter’s orders as it pro-actively encourages members to embrace change and to encourage and welcome new-entrants to the profession.
If you practice in the residential sector come and find out for yourself.
Chaired by Southport-based member and part-time Associate Director at RICS Graham Ellis the event will follow a BBC Question Time format with a panel of leading players representative of the industry including:
