Overview

Join us for a round table with Cabinet Secretary Mark Drakeford and leading property professionals on the future of construction in Wales. The RICS observer plus session will look at Construction in Wales and also focus on the International Construction Measurement Standards (ICMS) which aim to provide global consistency in classifying, defining, measuring, analysing and presenting entire construction costs at a project, regional, state, national or international level.

This project is the first of its kind with global coverage, bringing together numerous organisations from around the world to create shared international standards for presenting entire construction costs. At a time of great pressure on construction budgets in Wales whether in the public or private sector, ICMS offers the chance to greatly boost the attractiveness of Wales for investors by growing certainty through a global set of standards.
