Julian Josephs FRICS - President, Julian Josephs Company

Julian Josephs has been active in International Real Estate since 1973. He first worked for Jones Lang Wootton in London before moving to their Brussels and Antwerp offices in Belgium. He then joined Hampton & Sons, Paris in 1974, where he oversaw the marketing of their clients’ commercial French developments before studying at INSEAD, France and graduating from their trilingual MBA class in 1977. In August 1977, he moved to New York, before joining Romanek Golub in Chicago in November, three months later, to work with foreign investors buying US real estate. In November 1980 he set up Julian Josephs Company in Washington DC, initially acting for overseas investors in developing 5 downtown office properties. He has since developed his own real estate portfolio of mixed use properties, with a focus on retail, as well as advising international clients. During the last 20 years, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins, Georgetown and George Mason Universities’ Graduate Programs, teaching International Real Estate. Julian was elected a member of RICS’ Americas Board in 2013 and Governing Council in 2015.



Chris Mundy, Senior Vice President, Investments, Oxford Properties

Chris Mundy oversees Oxford's Washington DC office with a primary focus on new business and is a member of the US executive committee. Mr. Mundy has over 25 years of real estate acquisitions, development, and operations experience. His previous leadership roles include being Co-COO at Equity Office Properties, CIO of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust and a Managing Principal at Rubenstein Partners. Mr. Mundy received his undergraduate degree at Boston University and his MBA at The Wharton School.

David Pahl, Managing Director, GTIS Partners

David Pahl joined GTIS as a Managing Director in July 2015 and opened the firm's Atlanta office. He is responsible for overseeing the office, retail and multifamily investment strategies in the U.S. Prior to joining GTIS, Mr. Pahl was a Managing Director with Prudential Real Estate Investors, responsible for overseeing the Prudential funds for North American investments, including the U.S. Property Funds (USPF) series managed on behalf of German institutional investors. The USPF funds, which totaled $1.5 billion of equity, were actively invested since the mid 1990's throughout the U.S. as well as Canada and Mexico across the office, retail and multifamily sectors. Mr. Pahl has more than 25 years of commercial real estate investment experience. He joined TMW in 1991, and was involved in creating the USPF institutional funds and overseeing the origination and closing of over 100 investment transactions valued at more than $6 billion.

Will Gibby FRICS, Fund Manager, Hermes Investment Management

Will Gibby has an MSc in Land Management, is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and a member of the RICS.
He joined Hermes as a transactions specialist for UK commercial real estate before moving over to become Investment Manager for the International Team in September 2007. In his present role as Deputy Fund Manager for the International Team, he is responsible, along with the Head of the International Team, for implementing BTPS's non domestic, four quadrant focused, real estate strategy.

Will McIntosh, Ph.D., Global Head of Research, USAA Real Estate Company

As the Global Head of Research for USAA Real Estate Company, Will McIntosh is responsible for helping develop commercial real estate investment strategy and managing in-house research with the objective of informing and enhancing the real estate investment process. Will comes to USAA Real Estate with more than 25 years of experience in real estate. He was previously Head of Global Research for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority’s (ADIA’s) Real Estate Department where he was responsible for helping develop ADIA’s global real estate investment strategy and building and leading a real estate research platform. Prior to joining ADIA, Will served as the Chief Investment Officer of Fund Evaluation Group (FEG), and was responsible for investment strategy and manager analysis.
