Project management is not exclusively a management issue but how it really works in a practical sense. It constitutes more than one can ever think of. Dr. Tang sees project management in two dimensions – project management relates to planning and project management relates to construction. However, he figures out redevelopment can also be an issue that a client should also care about. To this end, Dr. Tang is going to present his valuable thoughts and insight that have accumulated through loads of work experience in the following cases to inspire you of the potential that a surveyor or a project manager can land into:

  1. Planning and development of an infrastructure cum urban development project in Sun Tin/ Lok Ma Chau
  2. Pre-planning of a re-development project for a private residential property in Clearwater Bay
  3. Project planning of a construction project with respect to contractual issues

Dr. Tang is a professional engineer with decades of work experience in various types of building and civil engineering construction projects. He is specialised in Design and Build Contract for general building and civil engineering works, contract administration for large scale of building and civil engineering projects, contractual disputes and claims in mediation, arbitration and litigation.

His work experience can be diluted into project management associated with International Contractors based on government building and civil engineering contracts, contractual disputes and arbitrations with respect to construction management issues. He is well known for resolving construction related technical problems and human resources issues with his interpersonal and team building skills. Besides previously working with different government departments, he also worked with large construction companies, local and overseas, and acted as an expert witness and a claim consultant in various dispute cases.
