In the traditional building process, project information and asset knowledge can be lost during handovers or miscommunications, whereas BIM overcomes all these issues by standardising the procedures and benchmarks. It detects clashes and integrates all relevant information and errors to be solved systematically for developers and management to conduct performance analysis and optimises the assessments.
Big data analysis is supported by cloud computing, it consistently increases the project lifecycles. It also improves efficiency and cyber security through resources sharing and artificial intelligence.
isBIM believes that it is vital to implement BIM into a Smart City development to add values to projects, minimise risks, strengthens communication, expedite project progress and provides information to management for decision making.
