Meet the trainer

Vishal Goel, MRICS
Partner, Cerestra Advisors Private Limited (a RE Private Equity Firm)

A senior real estate professional, Vishal Goel, is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and Harvard Design School with over 17 years of experience across India, US and Singapore markets. Managed multiple regional offices, mentoring the cross dimensional team of professionals. Has been associated with RICS as a trainer for last three years.

Vishal is currently a partner with Cerestra Advisors Private Limited, where has conceptualised and executed investment strategy across real estate verticals and led deployment of US$200 million. He leads the real estate investment and management activities including developing investment strategies, establishing partnerships, deal origination, due diligence processes, asset development, asset leasing and underwriting processes.

Prior to this managed two million sq ft office portfolio for Red Fort Capital, with a focus on optimising core assets portfolio and enhance valuation by ensuring leasing with credit tenants. Formerly, a MD / Head of India operations of Alexandria, a US$8 billion NYSE listed REIT for five years, where he initiated India operations and created national footprint through grounds up development (one million sq ft), acquisitions and leasing, with a committed capital of US$500 million.

Vishal started his carrer with Ernst & Young and worked with them for a decade where he started real estate advisory practice for the India region and worked with several marquee investors like D E Shaw, Citi, Lehman as an investment advisor. He has extensive exposure to global REIT practices in core business areas of operations, acquisition, financing, leading, underwriting and growth startegy in new geographies.
